Mission briefing

We print the evidence.
You reach the conclusion.

Suspect Zero cases are investigations on paper. There's no game board, no app and no one to tell you you're warm. You have the file, and somewhere inside it two things don't add up.

Why paper

Because real investigations are reading.

Detectives, auditors and judges don't solve cases with flashes of inspiration. They read carefully, cross-reference, and notice the one timestamp that doesn't match the statement. That's the experience we wanted to put in a box.

Every case is written so it can be solved from the documents alone. No guesswork, no trick ending. When you open the sealed envelope, the solution should feel inevitable: the answer was in the file the whole time.

The documents are designed to look like the real thing: typed witness statements, handwritten registers, printed access logs, forensic reports and photographs. You'll spread them across the table, scribble on them and argue over them.

The five series

Different crimes. Different roles.

Not all of our cases are murders, and you're not always the detective. In You Are the Judge, you deliver the verdict.

Play once, pass it on

A case is solved only once.

Once you've opened the solution envelope, the case is closed for you. That's by design: the whole experience is the moment the contradiction clicks. Afterwards, pack the file back in its box and give it to a friend who hasn't played it.
